Our programs are designed to challenge every energy system and muscle fiber type, ensuring comprehensive fitness development for our members.
Position Overview
As a BFT Studio Manager, you will be instrumental in running the studio from day to day operations, membership sales, retention, team management and delivering high-quality group training sessions, fostering a positive and inclusive environment, and supporting members in achieving their fitness goals. This role requires a passion for fitness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse group of individuals.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and deliver pre-designed BFT group training sessions, ensuring exercises are performed safely and effectively
• Run day to day operations of the studio including administration,staff management, rosters and membership queries
• Foster a supportive and energetic class atmosphere that encourages member engagement and retention
• Maintain a strong understanding of BFT programming and the unique features of each session type
• Responsible of sale of memberships and retention as well as member onboarding, including conducting fitness assessments and providing guidance on program expectations
• Collaborate with the coaching team to ensure consistency in session delivery and member experience which can ensure member retention.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities
• Ensure the studio is clean, organized, and equipped for each session
• Address member inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, responsible or studio KPIs for membership sales and retention
Qualifications
• Certificate III and IV in Fitness (or equivalent)
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications
• Previous experience in group fitness or personal training settings
• Strong understanding of functional training and strength-based programs
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire individuals to achieve their fitness goals
• Commitment to maintaining a positive and inclusive training environment
Desirable Attributes
• Experience with BFT programming or similar group training methodologies
• Sales and customer service experience
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
