Hursey Seafoods is a family-owned, award-winning seafood restaurant perched on the edge of the ocean in beautiful Stanley, Tasmania. Known for our fresh-caught crayfish, local scale fish, and premium dining experience, we’re looking for a skilled Chef de Partie to join our passionate kitchen team.
What you'll be doing:
· Preparing and presenting high-quality seafood dishes to consistent standards
· Supporting the Lead Chef in service delivery and prep
· Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
· Training and mentoring junior staff
What we’re looking for:
· Previous experience in a similar role (minimum 2 years preferred)
· A passion for seafood and a love of fresh, local produce
· Strong organisational and time-management skills
· A reliable team player with a positive attitude
· Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
