Join Brightscope HR as a Machine Operator to work either the Day or Afternoon shift on a permanent full-time basis in Dandenong South!

About the role:

Day shift = Start 6am / Finish 2pm

Afternoon shift = Start 2pm / Finish 10pm

Duties include but not limited:

Operate various machines such as the beaming machine and backing line

Replenish empty yarn on creels as needed.

Will be required to perform setting adjustments as required for each order

Must be willing to learn how to perform minor repairs/troubleshoots on machines

Maintain a safe, tidy work area free from obstructions.

Assist with stock putaways and outward goods

Move materials and pallets with the forklift

To be considered for this role:

Minimum 1-2 years of experience working in a manufacturing/production environment.

Must have good attitude and desire to learn.

Ability to read, write and process order documentation correctly

Must have a forklift licence or willingness to obtain

High attention to detail.

Capable of completing the physical demands of the role: Instances of prolonged standing, bending, lifting (between 1kg to 15kgs), kneeling, & good hand/eye coordination.

Must have your own car and valid licence.

Available to start immediately.
