Braeside based precision engineering business, specialising in low volume production machining for medical, defence and aerospace needs a CNC Machine Operator for permanent fulltime on Afternoon shift.

This is an excellent company to work for, they have been in business for over 40 years and are known for producing outstanding work and treating staff with respect.

They are looking for experienced and enthusiastic CNC machinist to work on either Okuma or Mazak machines doing set-ups and production runs on either a Lathe or Milling machine.

You will report to the workshop Supervisor and be responsible for small runs between 10-50 components as well as high volume runs of 1000-2000 on average.

TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

• Trade qualifications or
• CNC Machine operation skills
• High attention to detail
• Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
• Suitable for perm Afternoon shift
• Understanding and interpreting engineering drawings
