Morning & Afternoon shift - Machine Operator – SWI Folder/ Slitter

We currently have an opening to join our afternoon shift team in Sunbury (12:00 pm-8.30 pm). Prior experience will be advantageous, however, full training will be provided.

About us:

Metfold Sheetmetal is a rapidly growing sheet metal roofing supplier. We specialized in Colobond® Roofing products and rainwater goods. For all your long-length custom Colorbond roof flashings, Rainheads, and Sumps. Custom and heavy gauge fabrication sheet metal, Galvanised, and Aluminium we are a one-stop shop.

What a day in this role might look like:

Operate Sheet metal Fabrication machinery

Operate SWI Folding/Slitting machine (Any experience shortlists the candidates).

Able to use Power tools

Operate Break press and Guillotine

Custom Sheet Metal Fabrication

Housekeeping around your machinery

A successful candidate will have these qualities

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Attention to detail

A team player

Reliable, hardworking, and punctual

ability to lift weights up to 20kg.

Good computer skills and Basic Math skills.
