Join the Defence Assistance Program (DAP)—a unique national initiative where you’ll help Defence personnel stay mission-focused by supporting their day-to-day operations.

Endeavour Foundation is offering a full-time DAP Support Officer role based at Holsworthy, NSW. This is a rare and rewarding opportunity to be part of a program delivered in partnership with Defence across ten sites nationally.

In this role you will:

• Supervise, train, and support a team of DAP employees, including one-on-one coaching and support
• Draft clear, objective case notes to track individual progress and organisational actions
• Provide guidance during changes and assist with mandatory training
• Manage service delivery timeframes and liaise with Defence personnel
• Schedule and monitor daily workloads to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks
• Collaborate with Defence to set and uphold quality standards
• Facilitate the integration of DAP employees into Defence workplaces
• Participate in training, meetings, and comply with Endeavour Foundation and Defence policies

What you will bring:

• A positive attitude with the ability to remain calm
• Experience working with people with a disability preferably in an employment setting
• Demonstrated experience in coaching individuals and delivering learning opportunities, preferably for those with disability
• Interpersonal and strong communication skills
• Conflict management and negotiation skills
• Ability to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance from the Australian Government & Security Vetting Agency (must be an Australian citizen)
• Proficiency in using current MS Office (i.e Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and communication technologies.
