Assistant Store Manager - Premium Footwear | Paddington Location

We're searching for a service-obsessed Assistant Store Manager to support the daily operations of a beautiful boutique in Paddington, working with an iconic, wellness-focused footwear brand known for quality, innovation, and exceptional customer experience. Key Responsibilities:

Drive smooth day-to-day operations and support the Store Manager in leadership and decision-making

Motivate, train, and lead a team of 10, with 3-5 team members rostered per day depending on trade

Deliver outstanding, consultative customer service with a focus on fit, function, and fashion

Provide product knowledge and styling advice, keeping up with seasonal trends and innovations

Support team development through structured training programs, including a formal Manager in Training induction

Participate in weekly manager calls, internal communications, and reporting to head office

What You'll Bring:

A background in retail-ideally footwear or fashion-with strong customer-facing experience

Natural leadership skills and the ability to guide a team through fast-paced trading environments

Confidence in taking initiative, running shifts independently, and being the go-to when the Store Manager is away

Strong organisational and communication skills to support both team and customer outcomes

Passion for premium product, wellness, and helping people look and feel their best

Roster:

Week 1: Monday-Friday

Week 2: Tuesday-Saturday

38-hour week, no public holidays, closed on Boxing Day
