As a Rostering and Scheduling Officer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring seamless service delivery by coordinating and optimising staff schedules. The Role:
- Managing staff rosters to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Coordinating schedules in line with client requests, care plans, and service agreements.
- Handling last-minute changes by problem-solving unplanned leave and rescheduling shifts.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure workforce utilisation and continuity of care.
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, award conditions, and company policies.
- Using rostering software and technology to streamline scheduling processes.
- Providing exceptional service by responding to enquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
About You:
- Experience in rostering, scheduling, or workforce planning (preferably in aged care or healthcare).
- Strong problem-solving and organisational skills - you can juggle competing priorities with ease.
- Great communication skills - you can liaise with staff and stakeholders professionally.
- Tech-savviness - confidence using rostering software, Microsoft Office, and other systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- A team player with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
