The Opportunity
An opportunity has opened within a well-established professional services firm for an Analyst to join their growing Corporate Finance team. You will contribute to a broad mix of client projects, including valuations and advisory work, across various industries and sectors. Working closely with experienced Directors, you will help deliver tailored solutions that meet specific commercial and regulatory needs.
This is an ideal role for someone with a solid foundation in finance and a desire to build a career in Corporate Finance. The Role
You will:

• Prepare valuations, independent expert reports and expert witness reports for M&A, tax, financial reporting, family law or litigation matters
• Contribute to client engagement and effective project delivery in collaboration with senior staff
• Work directly with clients and external stakeholders
• Build professional relationships with clients and colleagues, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor

About You
You will bring:

• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
• 1–2 years’ experience in corporate finance or valuations
• A solid understanding of financial accounting principles
• Strong analytical and report writing skills
• Interest in capital markets and corporate finance theory
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Modano, S&P CapIQ or MergerMarket will be viewed favourably
• Financial modelling experience is an advantage
• A current national police clearance (within six months)
• Full Australian working rights and willingness to travel
