Job Title:

Construction Project Manager (Residential)

Core Role & Responsibilities

They’ll be responsible for:

1. Site Leadership

Running day-to-day operations for 4–5 projects

Managing subcontractor performance and sequencing

Coordinating material deliveries and safety compliance

2. Job Progress & Delivery

Updating schedules and identifying risks

Minimising variations and delays

Reporting site issues and milestones

3. Client & Team Communication

Weekly client check-ins and updates

Coordinating with estimators, directors, and admin

Supporting a strong site culture

Required Skills & Tools:

Skill / Tool and Why It’s Needed

Buildertrend / Procore: Track jobs, costs, and progress

Scheduling & Gantt tools: Maintain realistic timelines

WHS documentation: Ensure safety compliance

Construction know-how: Make informed site decisions

Communication & follow-through: Manage trades and clients daily
