We have a fantastic opportunity for a Kiosk Assembler to play a key role in our collaborative team environment. This is a hands-on role where you will be supporting the Stage & Test Team, working to bring customer kiosk projects to life. With many new projects in the pipeline.

This will be an exciting opportunity to grow with the company as our team expands, with potential to upskill to our stage & test team for those interested in technology.

This is a role where you will be learning many new skills from kiosk assembly to cable management and more. Due to the wide variety of hardware products we provide you will always have new things to learn.

This is a full-time position based in our Braeside warehouse. Daytime hours 8.30am to 5pm and no weekends.

As a Kiosk Assembly Technician, your primary focus will be on assembling custom kiosk metal housings and integrating various hardware components prior to handover to our Stage & Test team. This role requires precision, mechanical aptitude, and experience with device installation, structured cabling, and custom physical modifications.

Part of the hardware build will require drilling holes into metal housing; experience is required to ensure attention to detail and correct fit.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble kiosk bodies and structural components using hand and power tools.

Perform custom physical drilling and modification of metal housings to accommodate components, ensuring accuracy, clean finishes, and correct fit.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.

Install and route cabling for power, data, and peripheral connectivity.

Integrate and mount OEM peripheral devices including:

Touch screens

PCs and embedded computing units

Barcode scanners

Thermal and receipt printers

Card readers and payment terminals

Perform functional checks and basic troubleshooting of installed devices.

Ensure all assemblies meet quality and safety standards.

Collaborate with engineering and PM teams to resolve technical issues.

Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety protocols.

Skills and Experience:

Minimum 2 years' experience in mechanical assembly and basic electrical wiring. (don’t need electrical experience)

Experienced using Hand Tools, drills and power tools.

Strong task management skills, coupled with a keen eye for detail will see you succeed in this role

The willingness to embrace a hand on and physical role within our warehouse. Ability to lift up to 25 kg and work on your feet for extended periods.

Some technical knowledge surrounding electronics and computer systems (or opportunity to upskill and learn much more on the job)

Familiarity with OEM device installation and integration.

Ability to read and understand technical documentation.

Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn on the job.

Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Ability to complete tasks on time and support other team members

Successful applicant will be required to submit to a police check on hiring.

Full training will be provided.
