About the role

Are you an experienced sales consultant looking for an exciting new opportunity in a unique industry? Carpet Place Floorworld, a leading retailer of flooring solutions, is seeking a keen and detail-oriented candidate to join their team in Garbutt, QLD.

What you'll be doing

Provide exceptional customer service, corresponding with clients via phone, email and instore

Attending clients' homes to measure and provide advice on what flooring may be suitable for their needs

Preparing quotes and processing sales transactions in a timely and accurate manner and following up with clients

Maintaining sales records eg. invoices and job cards

Scheduling installations with contractors

What we're looking for

Preferably someone in the retail trade industry.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy, ability to work in and understand different units of measurements eg. Square meters, lineal meters

A passion for interior design and a desire to help clients find the perfect flooring solution

Strong sense of integrity, loyalty and honesty

Willingness to learn and stay up-to-date with the latest flooring trends and products

Current driver’s license

Knowledge of flooring would be advantageous but not essential

Computer skills, with different software programs

Availability to work on Saturdays, independently from 9:00am to 12:00pm
