Centre Cook – AppleBerries Early Education Brookwater

We’re looking for a passionate and organised Centre Cook to join our team at AppleBerries Brookwater!

In this vital role, you’ll be responsible for preparing nutritious, high-quality meals for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. You’ll work in a purpose-built kitchen, supported by a welcoming team who value the role of food in early learning and wellbeing.

What You’ll Do:

Plan and prepare nutritious meals that meet dietary and allergy requirements

Maintain a clean, safe and organised kitchen in line with food safety guidelines

Manage stock ordering and kitchen budgets

Build positive relationships with children, families, and educators

About You:

Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willing to obtain)

Previous experience in a childcare or commercial kitchen setting

Strong understanding of food safety standards and allergen management

A warm and caring nature with great time management skills
