Have you worked in transport, civil, logistics or heavy equipment and want to move into the mining sector?

Our client is one of WA’s fastest growing mining contractors, is looking for 3 motivated Trade Assistants to support their mining workshop. You’ll gain exposure to mining equipment, earn strong FIFO rates, and work alongside qualified tradespeople maintaining a high-output fleet of road trains and mobile plant.

About the Role:

This is a physically hands-on role where you’ll support mechanical, electrical, and fabrication teams with tasks such as:

Assisting with servicing and repairs on large-scale equipment (dump trucks, loaders, dozers)

Supporting the movement of components, parts, and tooling across the yard and workshop

Participating in lifting operations (e.g., helping with rigging, Franna or crane work)

Operating basic plant and helping manage site deliveries and stores

Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Learning from experienced trades and growing your mining skill set

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

Previous experience in civil, logistics, heavy vehicle workshops or transport yards

White Card (Required)

EWP Ticket (Required)

Dogging, Franna, rigging or crane ticket (Required)

HR or MC Licence (Required)

Loader or mobile plant experience - a huge advantage

Reliable work ethic and safety-first mindset

Fit to pass a full pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening

Available for FIFO from Perth
