We’re a small, family-run business with an opportunity for growth and are looking for a full-time Plant Mechanic/Fitter to join our team.

This role is based onsite at a hard rock quarry in Karuah, working Monday to Thursday, 5:00pm to 3:00am (afternoon shift) with shorter rostered shifts on Fridays as required.

You’ll be responsible for preventative and breakdown maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a range of equipment including mobile and fixed plant, jaw and cone crushers, screens, excavators, loaders, and trucks. You’ll be working alongside an established onsite crew to support all aspects of quarry operations.

Essential Criteria:

Must be self motivated and able to work alone as well as part of a team.

The ability to use your initiative, think for yourself.

Must be organised and take pride in your work.

Must be use to working onsite and handling varying conditions.

Must have minimum 2 years experience in similar roll.

Must be Trade Qualified.

Willing to undergo regular drug and alcohol tests.

Desired Criteria:

HR License.

Confined space ticket.

Dogmans ticket.

Working at Heights.
