About the role

Mountain View Café, located within the Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve Maleny is seeking passionate and talented Chefs to join our dynamic team. As a Chef at MVC, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our valued customers. This position is a full time position with Monday to Friday on offer with no nights and no split shifts. We are located 20 - 30 mins from Caloundra.

What you'll be doing

Prepare and cook a variety of quality, creative dishes

Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards

Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and streamline kitchen operations

Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout your shift

Provide excellent customer service and contribute to a positive work environment

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Chef, ideally in a cafe or restaurant setting

Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation

Excellent time management, multitasking, and problem-solving skills

Passion for using fresh, high-quality ingredients to create delicious meals

Ability to work well in a team and under pressure

Ability to move with pace

Must already be located on the Sunshine Coast and we are currently unable to offer sponsorship.
