About us

We are an exciting new café opening in the heart of Slacks Creek, bringing a fresh and modern twist to classic breakfast and brunch favourites. Our vision is to create a vibrant, welcoming space that celebrates flavour, creativity, and community.

We’re now looking for a passionate and experienced Breakfast Chef or Café Chef to take the lead in our kitchen—and help us shape our menu from the ground up.

About the role

This is not your typical back-of-house position. We’re offering a rare opportunity for a chef to be part of something from the very beginning. You’ll have full creative input into the development of our signature breakfast and brunch menu, working closely with the owners to bring your ideas to life.

This is a full-time, early morning role perfect for a chef who thrives in a fast-paced yet positive environment.

What you’ll be doing:

Creating a dynamic and unique breakfast/brunch menu that reflects your style and expertise

Preparing high-quality, beautifully presented dishes with consistency

Managing kitchen operations including stock, prep, hygiene, and service

Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment

Collaborating with owners and front-of-house team to deliver an exceptional customer experience

What we’re looking for:

2+ years’ experience as a breakfast chef, café chef or similar role

A passion for cooking and a flair for modern breakfast and brunch dishes

Experience creating menus and recipes from scratch (bonus if you’ve worked in new café launches)

Strong knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen management

Positive, can-do attitude and ability to work both independently and in a team

Reliability, punctuality, and high attention to detail

Have full legal working rights in Australia
