What you need to know...

  • permanent full time - 76 hours per fortnight
  • the package: $57,955 to $69,112 plus superannuation per annum
  • location: Townsend, NSW

  • 9 day fortnight

About the role
Are you looking for an opportunity to plan and deliver services valued by the community? Do you like a variety of work across a wide geographic area?

If you are interested in water and sewerage operations, apply to join Clarence Valley Council’s Water Cycle team for the opportunity grow your skills in one of the most scenic, beautiful and geographically diverse areas of New South Wales.

We are seeking a budding field operator to assist with construction, operation and maintenance of Clarence Valley Council’s water supply and sewerage services.

You will have the opportunity to work with a great variety of assets including water and sewerage pipes, sewer and water pump stations, water supply reservoirs, sewage treatment plants and chlorination plants.

The preferred candidate will be required to participate in an on-call roster & call back and must be available for weekend and public holiday rosters.

Other important information
This position is located at Council's Townsend depot; however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.

A probation period applies to this position.
