It is a fast paced, busy environment and therefore they have a need to add an additional Management Accountant.

Tasks and role details -

The roles report into the Finance Manager and includes the following broad responsibilities -

Budgeting, Forecasting and Business planning

Executive reporting, analytics, and presentation to enable decision making

Assist the managers with mentoring staff

Lead role in managing the month end reporting process

In depth analysis on results

Business partnering with the operation teams, all departments and financial stakeholders

Lead role in process and systems improvement projects

Involvement with due diligence projects

Desirable background -

Ability to thrive in a busy, fast paced and deadline driven environment

Progressive, inquisitive, self-motivated candidates with excellent communication skills

CPA/CA qualified

Strong budgeting background

Excellent communication skills and ability to business partner with key stakeholders

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Someone who has been involved with systems implementation or process improvement projects would be an advantage

Retail property/retail or fund accounting background advantageous but open to all commerce and industry business background
