Precise Surveys Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Accounts Officer on a Part time basis. Working days and hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thrusday 5 hours per day but can be adjusted to suit your situation. You will be solely responsible for the end-to-end accounts for the business, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and other general office functions.
Duties Include:
Accounts Payable and Accounts
Weekly cashflow management reporting and analysis
Reconciliation of bank accounts including credit cards and fuel cards
Developing, implementing and following financial/accounts processes and procedures
Payroll for between 20-35 employees' number of employees varies each pay run including: Fortnightly pay runs, lodgement of monthly superannuation, payroll tax
Assist with collation of information for year-end compliance work;
Processing of relevant journal entries when required
Backup reception duties
The ability to work in a low supervision environment.
Required Skills:
Experience with Xero accounting software.
Certificate IV in Bookkeeping (preferred)
Experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Experience in payroll
Strong computer literacy
Proficient in Microsoft products, including Excel and Word
Eye for detail and high level of organisation
Ability to work in a small team
