About the role

Benchmark Systems is seeking a highly organised and efficient Office Administrator/Bookkeeper to join our team in Willetton, Western Australia. This Full-time role is integral to the smooth running of our operations, and you will be responsible for a variety of administrative and financial duties. Expected hours 38hrs per week office-based role.

What you'll be doing

Managing day-to-day office operations, including ordering supplies, maintaining filing systems, and providing administrative support to the wider team

Handling all bookkeeping tasks within MYOB, such as creating sales invoices, entering purchase invoices, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, Bank reconciliation, and preparation of financial reports. A good understanding of all of these tasks is a must.

Liaising with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner

Providing exceptional customer service and support to both internal and external contacts

Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity

Assisting with special projects and ad-hoc tasks as required

What we're looking for

Proven experience in a similar office administration or bookkeeping role, ideally within a small to medium-sized business

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour

Must have proficiency in using common office software, including Microsoft Office suite MYOB accounting software

Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and precision in all work

Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and requirements
