Wild Things Food is an organic grocer and health food store that’s proud to combine traditional naturopathy with modern, customer-centred retail. We’re looking for a qualified, proactive Naturopath to join our retail team in a hybrid practitioner/retail assistant position.

About the Role

Casual/Part time position: 3 days per week

This is a unique dual role:
You’ll be on the floor as a practicing Naturopath behind our fully equipped dispensary, offering brief, professional guidance to our customers, while also contributing fully to the day-to-day running of the store. This includes customer service, merchandising, stock management, and helping at the checkout.

You’ll be expected to:

Provide ethical, evidence-based, brief in-store consultations (max 5 minutes)

Assist with customer service and sales at the checkouts

Manage naturopathic dispensary upkeep, compliance, and merchandising

Be available for weekend shifts and part of a flexible, rotating roster

Support in purchasing, supplier communications, and promotions

Contribute to social media content, in-store education, and promotional displays

Help produce in-house wellness products like herbal teas, creams, and bath salts

What We’re Looking For

A qualified Naturopath with association membership, professional indemnity, and (ideally) current First Aid

Comfortable in a customer-facing retail environment

Willing to take initiative, work collaboratively, and adapt to the flow of a busy store

Skilled at balancing clinical responsibility with practical retail tasks

A positive communicator who shares our passion for natural health
