The opportunity
This position will coordinate and lead the project management of all stages of a commercial property lease over-haul for Ability Options in collaboration with the Property and Assets team. You will be a part of the team that focuses on continuous improvement and provides exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.
Employment: Temporary full-time role (3 months)
Location: Bella Vista, NSW
Salary: $116k per annum + super + salary packaging + monthly RDOs
Key responsibilities
You will manage multiple commercial leasing projects including:
- Contract extension, property search and analysis, contract negotiations, relevant fit out, de-fit, relocation, occupancy plan and site onboarding.
- Preparing a brief business case for approval outlining costs, caseloads, benefits, fit out for new sites.
- Reducing overheads via procurement of alternative, more cost-effective office premises whilst maintaining quality service provision.
- Identifying any sub leasing opportunities in existing premises to increase occupancy and reduce overheads.
This role has no direct reports but works in matrix structure, collaborating with Building and Facilities Officers. The Procurement & Property Leasing Officer will supervise these officers from time to time to achieve project outcomes.
The role will report to the General Manager – Property, Assets & Administration.
About you
We are looking for someone with strong project management skills including:
- Successful in delivering large scale changes in leased property
- Excellent administration and time management skills
- Property procurement experience
- Demonstrate understanding of commercial property market and a commitment to deliver reliable, efficient, and seamless services to the business
- Ability to negotiate leasing contracts including make good obligations
- Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with a range of both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to undergo a satisfactory police check
- Driver Licence
The position is primarily based in Bella Vista, however, you will be required to travel within the region from time-to-time to meet the project operational needs. There will be an opportunity to work from home on a 50:50 basis.
