We have a rare opportunity for a passionate educator to join our friendly and supportive staff team. If you are looking to extend your skills and professional learning working in a preschool which values quality over profit then this may be the role for you.

About the role:

We are seeking an educator who is passionate about children's rights and safety and is prepared to go above and beyond to support our team in providing high quality care and education for every child.

The position involves working 3 days per week 9.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Wednesday for the remainder of 2025. Depending on the needs of the preschool, these days and hours could change in the future.

Additional hours and days would be available as required.

Operating during school terms and paid during school holidays (stand down times) when educators are only required to be in attendance 1 to 2 days for for staff development, planning, cleaning etc.

Large natural playground with beautiful mature trees, lots of nature and spaces for children to engage in adventurous play.

Extensive indoor and outdoor spaces with an abundance of quality resources.

3 classes with children attending 2 or 3 days per week.

Rated “Exceeding” the National Quality Framework in all 3 Assessment and Ratings.

Stable and friendly staff team providing support and mentoring to develop professional knowledge and skills.

Above award wages and conditions. Hourly rate between $34 and $42 depending on qualifications and experience plus superannuation.

The successful applicant will have:

Either a ACECQA approved Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care qualification - we will select the best applicant for the position rather than the cost.

Current NSW Working with Children Check.

Current ACECQA approved First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training.

ACECQA approved Child Protection qualification.

Experience in an approved education and care service.

Food safety training or willing to complete..

Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

A positive, flexible approach to work and professional learning.

Dedication and commitment to supporting a high-quality, child focused and play based program for children.

Willingness and ability to work with technology to enhance learning and teaching.

Understanding of WHS requirements.

Work rights to enable you to work in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

Play an active role to ensure a high-quality early childhood education and care program is maintained within the preschool.

Develop positive and caring relationships with children, families, staff and our community.

Collaborate with the teaching team to create engaging learning experiences based on children’s interests, ideas, strengths and abilities.

Assist in the documentation of each child's learning journey.

Contribute effectively to a team environment in a positive manner.

Be committed to inclusion and respect diversity.

Understand and implement the preschool's philosophy and follow service policies and procedures

Be a reflective educator committed to ongoing learning.
