Salary: $75,000 – $80,000 plus statutory superannuation

The role:

We are seeking a qualified Motor Mechanic to join our experienced team. The role involves a mix of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance to ensure vehicles safety, reliable, and running at peak performance.

The responsibilities include:

· Performing diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on a variety of makes and models.

· Completing roadworthy evaluations and safety reviews.

· Diagnosing mechanical problems, along with detecting issues in vehicle stability and tyre condition.

· Replacing defective or worn parts, reassembling vehicle systems, and referencing manuals as needed.

· Completing scheduled maintenance tasks to enhance vehicle performance and ensure compliance.

· Inspecting and calibrating mechanical systems post-repair for smooth functionality

· Inspect and repair steering, suspension and all brake systems.

· Servicing and repairing braking, steering, suspension, fuel, and ignition systems.

· Acquire vehicle parts and accessories for repairs as required.

· Working independently and as part of a team.

What we are looking for:

· Trade qualification as Motor Mechanic

· Two years of experience in the related role

· Valid Driver's Licence

· Unrestricted work entitlements if holding a temporary visa

· Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, including familiarity with computer-based diagnostic equipment.

· Strong communication skills & customer-friendly attitude

· Ability to diagnose and work unsupervised
