Position: Motor Mechanic

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $74,000 to $80,000 per annum plus superannuation

Location: Campbelltown, SA

We are looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic and experienced Motor Mechanic with great work ethics and passion for the automotive industry. This is a full-time permanent position requiring the person to work on a rotating roster including weekends.

Tasks required include:

Fault Detection and Diagnosis: Identifying issues in engines and parts.

Dismantling and Inspection: Removing engine assemblies and components for checking.

Repair and Replacement: Fixing or replacing defective parts and reassembling components, using service manuals as references.

Scheduled Maintenance: Performing regular services like oil changes and tune-ups to enhance vehicle performance and comply with pollution standards.

Reassembly: Putting engines and parts back together after repairs.

Testing: Adjusting and testing mechanical parts post-repair to ensure they function correctly.

Computer Assistance: Utilising computers for diagnosing and testing parts.

Vehicle Inspection: Assessing vehicles for roadworthiness and outlining necessary repairs.

Requirements:

Certificate III in Automotive (Certificate IV in Automotive will be preferred)

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a fast-paced work environment in Australia

Excellent diagnostic & managing skills

Ability to be a team player with excellent communication skills

Good management skills
