Adelaide Automen is a family run automotive workshop that’s been established for almost 30 years now. Our automotive service centre is dedicated to meeting the automotive needs of our clients with a panel shop next door.

We are a certified member of the MTA (Motor Trade Association).

With our workshop located in Pooraka, we are extremely busy and constantly expanding our business. We are looking for a Qualified Motor Mechanic with excellent communication skills and someone that is looking for a career path within our business. The successful applicant must be able to carry out service and repairs to all makes and models and work unassisted. Attractive wages negotiable depending on skill levels, qualifications and work history.

Qualifications & experience

Applicants must have a current drivers license (able to drive manual)

Auto electrical knowledge would be advantageous

Must be confident trouble shooting and working unassisted

Must have good diagnostic skills

Must have great communication skills

Must be reliable and punctual

Fully qualified 5+ years’ experience in the trade

Has worked as a Senior Mechanic previously

Tasks & responsibilities

The successful candidate will be required to perform service and repair work to all makes and models

Provide outstanding customer service

Be able to manage their time and prioritise their workload

Service and repair of every make and model on the road. We see it all!

Trouble shoot and diagnose issues on vehicles using our modern diagnostic equipment

Maintain workshop tools and equipment

Complete necessary paperwork including job cards and safety inspection sheets
