About the role

Curtis Coast Excavators' is seeking an experienced Final Trim Excavator Operator to join our team in Gladstone, QLD on a full-time basis. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for operating various machinery to complete the final stages of construction projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and attention to detail.

What you'll be doing

Skilfully operate excavator machinery to perform final trimming and finishing work on construction sites

Carry out precise grading, levelling and landscaping tasks to exacting standards

Coordinate with project managers and other tradespeople to complete tasks on time and to specification

Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on assigned equipment

Adhere to all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years' experience as a Final Trim Excavator Operator in the construction industry

Formal qualifications in plant operations, civil construction or a related discipline

Excellent spatial awareness, hand-eye coordination and attention to detail

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to overcome challenges on site

A commitment to workplace safety and a demonstrable safety-first mindset

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
