As a well-established head contractor with strong relationships within key government authorities, our client has developed a strong portfolio of projects within the water infrastructure, pipelines and the water resource management sector and they continue to forge a strong reputation for service delivery and quality and the title of one of the most up-and-coming organisations in the sector.

About the Opportunity
With an exciting borefield expansion project commencing in the South West corner of WA (within driving distance of Perth), we are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer/ Deputy Project Manager capable of running multiple $8m - $10m water infrastructure projects involving large bore pipelines, trenching, WTP, WWTP, pump stations and water storage facilities.

Skills and attributes required in this role include;

• Ideally Engineering Qualified (Civil/ Structural/ Mechanical etc)
• Minimum of 15 years of construction experience in a contracting environment
• Ideally have experience across water infrastructure incl. pipelines (HDPE, MSCL, Steel etc), WTP, WWTP, SMP, E&I works and ideally SCADA.
• Will be able to demonstrate a portfolio of successful past projects
• Sound project scheduling, cost control, and reporting capabilities
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to develop rapport with internal and stakeholders
• Will be prepared to work on a Drive-in Drive-Out basis (DIDO) on a range of rosters ranging from 2/1 to 5/2 or 10/4 subject to project locations.
• Must have for Australian/ NZ Working Rights
