Due to our continued success and growth, we are currently seeking an experienced Leading Hand/Site supervisor to join our business for projects in Queensland.

With a steady pipeline of work in multiple regions. We are currently about to start a site in Rockhampton and desire someone who has the knowledge to drive a project from start to finish.

Reporting directly to the Directors and Senior Project Manager, you will be expected to have previous experience in the construction industry and a keen eye for detail and process completion.

Responsibilities:

• Manage site to run on schedule and within budget
• Reporting to management on key events
• Implementing and adhering to a safe work environment
• Efficiently running and managing of all staff and contractors on site
• Obtaining quotes and finding the right contractors for the job
• Programing works and updating as necessary
• Organising trades and materials to be on time to create a positive effect on timelines
• Organising Inspections and collecting documentation for Occupation stages
• Open and close site as required
• Toolbox talks

Essential Requirements:

• Experience in a similar position, preferably in Commercial Construction such as warehouses & factories.
• Understanding of construction process & Industry standards.
• Experience with Tilt Panel and Pre Cast wall systems
• Excellent communication skills and a solution-based mindset
• Builders License highly advantageous.
• Proactive, self-motivated quick thinker.
• Experience with MS Office and MS Projects highly advantageous
• Ability to work and problem solve under pressure.
