Junior Project Manager – Commercial / Hospitality / Education Builder

A head contractor with a strong reputation for quality and detail is looking for a Junior Project Manager to join the team working across some great clients in the schools, commercials or pubs and club's scene.

With several projects set to kick off soon, there’s a great opportunity for the right person to come in, get up to speed with the team, and hit the ground running where support is needed most.

You’ll be working closely with an experienced Senior Project Manager who’s committed to offering guidance and mentorship as you settle in and throughout the full project lifecycle. It’s a great role for someone eager to step up, stay hands-on, and grow with the support of a strong leader.

What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be deeply involved across the commercial and technical aspects of the project, including:

Site coordination and support for daily operations

Programming and sequencing of works

Drafting and reviewing scopes of work

Managing RFIs and tracking responses

Preparing and reviewing ITPs and QA documentation

Subcontractor reviews, package letting and onboarding

Supporting contract administration, variations and project reporting

Working across both the office and site, with a clear growth path ahead

You won’t just be running errands or managing spreadsheets. This is a hands-on opportunity to be at the centre of the businesses major projects and contribute meaningfully.

What we’re looking for:

6 / 10 years’ experience in construction, and past experience working as both a Contract Administrator and a Project Engineer in commercial building construction in Australia is essential

A relevant degree in construction management or engineering

Strong communication skills and commercial awareness

Proactive attitude and a willingness to learn quickly

Confidence to step up, take initiative and make the role your own
