We are looking for a kind, empathetic, and down-to-earth female support worker, aged between 25 and 40, to join a close knit support team for a wonderful young person who thrives with gentle guidance and shared passions.

She is a joyful and vibrant individual who:

Loves spending time outdoors, especially at the beach collecting shells

Has a deep affection for animals, including her beloved bearded dragon and two dogs

Is a talented artist with a passion for drawing and learning new techniques via YouTube

Enjoys playing Pokémon with her brother

Finds happiness in all things nature related, especially bugs!

Comfortable Supporting Her Faith

Faith is an important part of her life

You should be open to supporting her Christian practices

This may include helping her use a prayer app that personalizes prayers with her name

The shifts available are:

Tuesdays 8:00am - 1:00pm

Wednesdays 08:00 -2:00pm

Sleep over shifts when required

Shift cover for team members when they are unavailable (Monday - Sunday excluding Thursdays)

QSSS hourly rates are Weekday $35.66, Evening $38.30, Night $39.33, Saturday $48.65, Sunday $62.62, Public Holidays $76.38 - (sorry, rate not negotiable).

We also support our staff through our EAP service which offers 4 x free counselling sessions where required, as well as discounted physiotherapy sessions at select physio practices while also having the assurance of consistency of Clients you support. You have a comprehensive suite of online learning to support you and face to face learnings.

Your key responsibilities & accountabilities:

To deliver high quality support to our Clients in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered

Communicate effectively and collaborate for our Clients needs with our Clients, team & Support Specialist

Understand, follow instructions, and be responsive to our Client’s needs

Provide support to our Clients as required

Have good rapport building skills and a gentle, encouraging manner

Be reliable and flexible to fill shifts when required

Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our Clients

To support our Clients to achieve their NDIS Goals

To be successful you must:

Resonate with the role description above

Have a genuine desire to positively change people's lives

Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia

Hold or be willing to obtain NDIS worker screening or yellow card

Hold or be willing to obtain a blue card
