About the Role

We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and experienced Disability Support Workers for active overnight shifts supporting a male client living with Muscular Dystrophy. This role involves providing high-quality, person-centred support in the client’s home.

You will be part of a small, respectful team that values dignity, independence, and building a positive working relationship with the client.

Ipswich

Shifts available:

Monday 22:00-6:00

Tuesday 22:00-6:00

Wednesday 22:00-6:00

Thursday 22:00-6:00

Sunday 22:00-6:00

Qualifications & experience

MUST have qualification in Disability Support or related field. Experience working with people with disabilities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Problem-solving and decision-making skills. Current First Aid Certificate, Working with Children Check, and National Police Check. Strong English in reading and writing skills

Experience within the industry a MUST

MUST be reliable with strong ethics and good values

MUST have a good attitude, kind and caring

MUST be resilient and be able to be fluid on shift

MUST be available for 3-5 of above shifts

Tasks & responsibilities

Offer personalised support in daily living tasks and personal care. Assist participants in accessing community activities and events. Document progress and report any concerns or updates. Adhere to organisational policies and industry standards
