About the Role
ARI Group is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our team on a full-time basis. Based in our Keysborough head office, this position plays a key role within our finance function, providing support across all core areas of accounting.
You’ll work closely with the CFO and a small finance team to deliver timely and accurate financial information, support payroll, manage reconciliations, and assist with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities.
Key Responsibilities
● Prepare daily bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
● Post journal entries, accruals, and prepayments
● Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and credit card entries
● Assist with monthly financial reporting, variance analysis, budgets, and forecasts
● Maintain registers for fixed assets, fuel cards, fleet, and mobile phones
● Support payroll processing, including timesheet collation and payroll tax calculations
● Process accounts payable invoices and assist with accounts receivable tasks
● Assist with annual FBT returns and other compliance obligations
● Provide support with quoting, invoicing, and debt collection when required
● Collaborate with team members across all finance functions
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
● Commencing CPA or CA qualification
Experience & Skills:
● Minimum 3 years' accounting experience in businesses with $10M+ turnover
● Hands-on knowledge of AP, AR, and Payroll functions
● Strong reconciliation, variance analysis, and reporting skills
● Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
● High attention to detail with excellent organisational and time management skills
● Strong written and verbal communication
