About the business and the role

Ballantyne Law is a commercial law firm based on the Gold Coast, servicing clients throughout Queensland and interstate.

Our dedicated property team acts in a modest number of residential and commercial conveyancing matters and we are looking for someone to run those files from A to Z under the supervision of our solicitors.

As we are not a high-volume conveyancing firm, there will be opportunities for the the successful candidate to gain (or utilise existing) experience a variety of commercial, property and estate planning work.

We offer flexibility including hours and hybrid work from home options depending on the needs and experience of the successful candidate.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Your role will include exposure to a range of work including residential and commercial property transactions and development work. There will be opportunities to work in the firm's other key practice areas - commercial, litigation, structuring and complex estate planning.

Depending on the candidate, there may be room for the role to develop into a supervisory position.

Skills and experience

The successful candidate will have conveyancing experience and the ability to run a conveyance from start to finish with little assistance.

While the role requires a candidate who is able to work autonomously on conveyancing matters, we provide a high level of support and supervision .
