Our Client is a boutique Accounting firm located on the Gold Coast with an exceptional team culture. They have created an opportunity for an experienced Supervisor to review the work of three Accountants before sending it to the Partner for final review and sign off.

This unique role is part time and would require you to work 24 hours per week and it is not a Client facing position, nor will you be required to be in the trenches doing compliance based work, it is all about ensuring high quality work is being produced by the team.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing annual compliance (financial statements, income tax returns, tax reconciliations)
• Reviewing the preparation of BAS, IAS, FBT, and payroll tax returns
• Providing feedback, training, and guidance to team members
• Acting as a mentor as required
• Reporting directly to the Managing Partner

The Perfect Candidate

• Be CA or CPA qualified (desirable)
• Have a minimum of three years experience in a supervisory or management role within Public Practice
• Team player, bright personality and a great cultural fit
• Possess strong technical knowledge across tax and accounting standards
• An eye for detail and a passion for quality work

• $120,000 - $140,000 plus Superannuation (pro rata)
