Quality and Compliance Manager – Aged Care | Full Time | Brisbane Southside, QLD

We are seeking a highly experienced Quality and Compliance Manager to join one of the leading clients in the aged care industry at their head office team. This is a full-time leadership role reporting directly to the Operations Manager and is vital to maintaining excellence in care, compliance, and resident outcomes across our aged care facilities.
As the Quality and Compliance Manager, you will lead initiatives to ensure all services meet or exceed regulatory, legislative, and aged care standards. You’ll play a central role in fostering a culture of continuous clinical improvement, safety, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day quality and compliance activities across multiple aged care homes
- Assist in policy development, implementation, and ongoing compliance training.
- Conduct regular quality audits, clinical documentation reviews, and observational assessments
- Manage escalated complaints and prepare formal responses to external bodies, including ACQSC
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders
- Support and guide home management teams on quality improvement strategies
- Lead open disclosure and feedback management processes
- Collate, analyse, and present data from resident surveys, audits, and incident reporting
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry changes and ensure organisational readiness
- Promote a resident-focused approach that aligns with our core values
About You:
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- 5+ years’ experience in aged care, including exposure to compliance and governance frameworks
- Proven ability in managing accreditation processes and continuous improvement programs
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills
- Proficiency in clinical systems and digital documentation
- Valid driver’s license, own reliable transport, and clear police check
