Hitfit offer a suite of training services for both Adults (16+) and Children (3+ to 16) through group and 1-on-1 training, as well as special events and training programs.

About the Administration/Reception Officer:

The Administration/Reception Officer will be the friendly face of Hitfit Ravenhall and create a warm, welcoming experience for everyone and anyone who steps in our doors.

You will have responsibility of our front-desk – covering membership queries, upkeep and database management, communicating and liaising with our current and prospective members and managing all transactions of the facility.

Your passionate and positive demeanour will strengthen the strong sense of community at Hitfit and help to enhance the experience of our members and the wider Hitfit Ravenhall community!

Weekly Hours of Work:

The Administration/Reception Officer will be required between Monday and Friday between 3:30pm to 8:30pm. You will also be required on weekends for 2-3 hours between 9am - 12pm (depending on activities and requirements).

Initially, a training period will be part of your schedule, which will progress to the days and times above.

Your Responsibilities:

Welcome new and prospective members to the facility

Give information about services offered (Group, 1-on-1 and special Events)

Answer incoming inquiries through telephone (call), messaging and email

Manage all member inquiries, queries, requests and communications

Processing new memberships and services into our gym software(s)

Manage existing membership changes and alterations

Enter and manage various data into our database and systems

Responsible for all Point-of-Sale purchases and summaries (POS)

Ad-hoc and administerial duties and tasks, where required

About You:

You have experience in a similar role or position (highly desirable)

You will have an interest in the health and fitness industry (highly desirable)

You create a positive energy and sociability through your interactions and strong interpersonal skills in individual and team settings (highly desirable)

You have a customer-centric attitude and engage positively with all people you interact with (face-to-face, telephone and messaging) (desirable)

You will have experience or a background in the health and fitness industry, or similar industry (desirable)

Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency (required)

You have great attention to detail and are accurate with your tasks

You can follow instructions and procedures effectively

You will have a “can-do” attitude and work ethic, and can be depended on with your reliability and adaptability

You enjoy working in both independent and collaborative settings to achieve common goals and outcomes with likeminded team members

You are proficient with the use of technology, computer, tablet, and related software
