About the role

Albion Hotel Normanton is seeking a dedicated and experienced live-in pub management couple to oversee the day-to-day operations of our charming hotel located in Normanton, Queensland. Must have current RMLV and RSA certificates. As a full-time position, this is an exciting opportunity for a passionate duo to apply their hospitality expertise and management skills to ensure the smooth running and ongoing success of our establishment.

What you'll be doing

Managing all aspects of the hotel's operations, including staff supervision, inventory control, financial management, and customer service

Developing and implementing effective strategies to drive sales, increase profitability, and enhance the overall guest experience

Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards

Fostering a positive and productive work environment for the hotel's employees

Representing the hotel and engaging with the local community to build strong partnerships and promote the business

Continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and innovation within the hotel's operations

What we're looking for

Proven track record of successful pub/hotel management, with at least 5 years of relevant experience

Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-centric approach

Strong financial management and budgeting skills

Thorough understanding of hospitality operations, including inventory control, staffing, and regulatory compliance

Willingness to live on-site and be available for the hotel's operations around the clock
