Our client's IP & Technology team, led by three highly regarded Partners, specialises in front-end transactions involving IP and technology, commercialisation, and innovation. The team advises both public and private sector clients on a wide range of complex and cutting-edge matters.

This opportunity offers significant scope for learning, development, and career progression. You'll be exposed to a diverse and intellectually stimulating mix of work, including:

• Drafting complex commercial contracts and advising on compliance with Australia's IP, data, franchising, and information security laws.
• Advising on IT, IP, and communications matters, including procurement and outsourcing of software, systems, and ICT services.
• Supporting clients with strategic partnerships, merchant acquiring agreements, data governance, and privacy compliance.
• Providing guidance on privacy and cybersecurity, including privacy notices, marketing, data management, and offshoring.
• Offering strategic advice on the registration, protection, and commercialisation of trademarks, patents, designs, and confidential information.

You'll work alongside a talented team of IP/Tech, Corporate, and Commercial lawyers in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

Who we're looking for:
We welcome applications from lawyers with 3+ years PAE up to Senior Associate level, ideally from specialist, national, international, or top-tier firms. Candidates with in-house experience or a Corporate/Commercial background with exposure to IP/Tech matters will also be highly regarded.
