Business Services Accountant – Public Practice

Brisbane | Full-time | $100k–$130k + Super

We are representing a reputable, forward-thinking public practice firm experiencing consistent growth through long-term client relationships, high quality service delivery, and professional referrals. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Business Services Accountant to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with SMEs, family groups, and high-net-worth individuals, providing a blend of compliance, reporting, and business advisory support to help clients manage and grow their businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of financial statements, BAS/IAS, and compliance reports
• Management of client portfolios with a strong focus on business services
• Assisting clients with budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and business insights
• Collaborating with Partners to deliver strategic advice and practical solutions
• Maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to the firm’s reputation for excellence

What We’re Looking For:

• A degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a public practice environment
• Progress towards or completion of CPA/CA qualifications
• Strong technical skills across Xero, MYOB, or similar software
• Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and client communication skills
