Join our passionate team at Busy Bees at Glenroy as a Full-Time Chef, where you'll play a key role in nourishing little minds and bodies through fresh, nutritious meals—while enjoying a supportive work environment and purpose-driven mission.

About the Role

Prepare and serve daily meals and snacks that meet the nutritional needs of children aged 0–5

Design and rotate seasonal menus aligned with dietary requirements and allergies

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with food safety standards

Oversee kitchen stock levels, food ordering, and budget management

Ensure documentation and food safety records are up to date

Collaborate with educators to support mealtime routines and positive food culture

What You’ll Need

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent

Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

Experience working in a childcare environment

Strong understanding of allergies and food intolerances

VIC Working with Children Check (Employee)

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Passion for healthy eating and working around children
