The Position:
As a qualified Fitter you will work individually and within a team to build, service and repair industrial equipment. The fully equipped and tooled workspace has clear processes but gives you the opportunity to innovate further.
Your daily activities will include:

• Carrying out a range of mechanical works on fixed and mobile process equipment
• Maintenance tasks, inspections and warranty repairs
• Ensure equipment is maintained to industry and regulatory requirements
• Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, planning out of jobs
• Using a range of hand and power tools
• Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace.

Benefits:

• $51.40 per hour + super + pens on overtime
• Monday - Friday role - No away works!
• 5:30 - 2pm Mon - Thurs
• 5:30 - 11:30 Fridays!
• Permanency after 6 months

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Mechanical Tradesman
• Relevant Mechanical Trade Qualification
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Ability to adapt to the changing needs of a job
• Strong commitment to health and safety
• Overhead crane tickets highly desirable
