About the role
As a Rostering Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in coordinating high-quality support services by ensuring Support Workers are scheduled efficiently and compliantly. You'll be part of a dynamic team committed to delivering timely, client-focused care while driving innovation in workforce planning.
- Take charge of daily rostering operations, ensuring timely and effective shift allocation aligned with client needs, staff availability, and compliance
- Be the key link between Support Workers and service teams, offering support, direction, and guidance to ensure seamless service delivery
- Maintain accurate schedules, respond to real-time staffing changes, and manage workforce gaps with proactive problem-solving
- Collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve rostering practices, workforce planning, and service quality
- Ensure high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and client satisfaction through consistent, quality-focused communication
Rotational roster:
Mon-Fri: 7am-3pm, 9am-5pm, 11am-7pm
Sat & Sun every 3 weeks: 10am-6pm
About you
- You bring at least 2 years of rostering, scheduling, or service coordination experience, ideally within a community or disability services setting
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport across teams
- You’re tech-savvy with experience using CRM or rostering systems like Carelink, Zendesk, or similar tools
- Your attention to detail, time management, and ability to juggle competing priorities help you thrive in fast-paced environments
- You’re a proactive, adaptable team player with a strong commitment to quality service, compliance, and continuous improvement
