As the Deputy Chief Officer – Emergency Management for the Northern Territory Emergency Service (NTES), you will drive the strategic vision of the agency and deliver impactful outcomes across the NT emergency management sector, including related activities with the Territory Emergency Management Council. This pivotal role provides high-level leadership and direction, with a strong focus on building capability through training, mentoring, and the provision of expert advice and information. You will play a key role in shaping the agency’s future and strengthening its contribution to community safety and resilience.
NTES, an operational arm of the newly formed NTFES, is responsible for facilitating Emergency Management planning, raising public awareness of potential disasters and providing a response capability for emergency events through its dedicated volunteers.
