Role Overview

This is a stop-gap role reporting to the Financial Controller and providing critical cover across a period of change. The purpose of this role is to support with day to day finance responsibilities including payroll, month end reporting and reconciliations.

In the short-medium term there maybe the opportunity to take on a permanent role with the business, however there is an immediate need for the aforementioned tasks and the desired candidate will be expected to provide value and expertise from day one, specifically through their use of Finance and Payroll systems. Non-negotiables for the role are prior use of Employment Hero Software for payroll and Xero for the Accounting tasks. CBD based with a hybrid working pattern of 4 days per week expected in the office and 1 day from home.

Responsibilities

• Payroll processing through use of Employment Hero Software
• Use of Xero General Ledger software and preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Process Intercompany journals and reconciliations
• Prepare monthly journals and accruals
• BAS and FBT returns

Candidate Profile

Being either a CPA or CA partly qualified with specific experience within Employment Hero for processing payroll and Xero for the General Ledger tasks. This role will suit an immediately available candidate who can add value through their experience from day one and the potential opportunity for a permanent role further down the line.
