The Role
As part of the Corporate Services Team this role will provide Administration, Executive Assistant and Financial Assistant Support services to the business in an accurate, timely, and organised manner. The person in this role will provide diary & travel management, attend to correspondence and reports, help manage client communications and provide data entry services for invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, staff expenses and basic account reconciliations as well as assist in general office administration. Full financial reporting and management will be provided by others.
Experience in project-based industries is desirable with an understanding of working with clients and their projects is desirable.
You will be proficient in the use of the Microsoft office suite and ideally also have experience in CRM systems and Xero.
The role is full time based in our office in Newstead, not far from Gasworks and James St. Parking is available on site.
Ideally, you will have the following:
Tertiary qualifications in business or commerce, TAFE or University based.
Solid and well-rounded business knowledge and numerical skills
Thorough knowledge of how to use the Microsoft Office Suite and a working knowledge of Xero & CRM systems
Ability to liaise with clients and suppliers
Ability to effectively manage internal and external stakeholder relations;
An understanding or ability to gain an understanding of varying client financial and administrative portals;
Experience working in a project-based business;
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to meet deadlines and get the job done;
Have a pro-active attitude and independently solve problems; and
Sense of team – a desire to become part of a successful team
