About the Role:
We are currently seeking a passionate and highly organised Events Coordinator to lead our Events team on the floor. Reporting directly to the Events Manager, this role will be instrumental in managing and coordinating events across all venues while supervising our Team Leader group. A hands-on approach is essential to ensure the consistent delivery of outstanding customer service and flawless event execution.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
Plan and execute events, including corporate meetings, conferences, trade shows, and social events.
Build and maintain strong working relationships
Liaise with clients on the day of their event.
Oversee event setup, execution, and teardown, ensuring all aspects run smoothly and efficiently.
Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
Coach and develop team members to foster an engaged and teamwork-oriented environment.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance event quality and attendee experience
Ensure all signage, menus and floor set up arrangements are correct for bookings
Ensure appropriate levels of staffing
Both administrative and operational duties required
About You:
Knowledge of the events industry
Ability to lead, coach and mentor a team focused on strong customer service.
Strong written and oral communication skills
Experience in managing risk assessments.
Flexibility and full availability (days, nights, weekends, and public holidays).
Previous banqueting experience is a plus
Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations within the function space.
