About the role

Join the dynamic team at Pod Slab Sales as a full-time Machine Operator/ Factory Hand based in Mayfield West, NSW. As a Factory Hand, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operations of facility. This hands-on position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our company.

What you'll be doing

Operate automated machine for timely production of goods

Assist with the loading and unloading of materials, goods and products

Operate overhead cranes and other material handling equipment to move inventory

Manufacture of Reinforcing Cages for construction

Perform general warehouse duties such as sorting, stocking, and inventory management

Ensure a clean, safe and organised work environment

Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe workplace

Work collaboratively with the production and logistics teams to meet deadlines

Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a factory, warehouse or logistics environment, preferably in a similar role

Overhead crane experience preferred but not essential

Basic Welding experience desired

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently

Good physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy items

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team

A commitment to workplace health and safety
