Job:
Bright Path Therapy is seeking a motivated and highly autonomous Occupational Therapist to join our growing team as a part-time contractor:
- South of the river - Rockingham - Mandurah and/or surrounding areas.
The successful candidate will provide occupational therapy services to NDIS participants experiencing mental health, neurodivergent, physical, social, and other disabilities. You will work collaboratively with clients, families, and support teams to enable positive outcomes in everyday function, participation, and quality of life.
Key responsibilities:
Deliver strengths-based, person-centred occupational therapy assessment and intervention within a community or home-based setting
Apply clinical reasoning and evidence-informed practice to assess functional capacity and design individualised therapy plans
Provide interventions across domains such as ADLs, self-care, executive functioning, social participation, sensory processing, fine/gross motor development, and emotional regulation
Prescribe assistive technology (low, mid, high cost) and provide reports for NDIS funding applications.
Conduct functional capacity assessments and write high-quality clinical reports
Engage in collaborative goal setting with participants, families, and support coordinators
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with professional and NDIS standards
Participate in ongoing supervision, reflective practice, and professional development
